Humanity left Earth. Nobody remembers exactly when, or exactly where Earth was. The giant ship that brought this part of humanity crashed on what would become Hope later, and the survivors had to adapt extremely fast. Earth is nothing more than a few lines in History books, languages, several symbols, and the knowledge the humanity brought along.
